Job Description

PLATFORMS: TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Threads Main Responsibility: Build a fanbase for the channel through a system of content, activities, and interactive events with players.

Job Responsibilities A/ Content Planning

  • Research player insights on gameplay, monetization, and in-game events to propose relevant content.
  • Develop a content checklist for the channel based on directions from the Content Plan.

B/ Content Production & Publishing

  • Research content formats and editing styles suitable for each content angle in the checklist.
  • Collaborate with content creators to produce content according to the plan.
  • Review content before and after publishing to ensure quality and adherence to the brief.
  • Publish content across designated platforms.

C/ Community Management & Moderation

  • Monitor user interaction, check sentiment, and respond proactively.
  • Reply to comments and inbox messages from users across platforms.
  • Filter inappropriate comments (hide/delete).

D/ Reporting & Analysis

  • Analyze data and report results.
  • Research and apply new content types and tools for content production.

PLATFORM: Discord A/ Content Planning Specific to Discord

  • Build a content checklist including:
  • Discussion topics, mini-games, and community engagement activities.
  • Ensure a sufficient number of topics and angles appropriate for the current context.
  • Research hot topics in gaming, Gen Z trends, memes, etc., to suggest trend-aligned content angles.
  • Detail monthly topic angles and prepare copy/captions for server events as per the plan.

B/ Content & Community Management on Discord

  • Create topics, discussions, and interact with server members to maintain engagement.
  • Publish official content according to campaigns or a scheduled calendar.
  • Participate in discussions, spark community conversations, and answer user questions.
  • Monitor comments/posts to:
  • Filter out negative comments.
  • Warn, mute, or kick users negatively impacting the community or brand.
  • Record community feedback to improve content, events, or server features.

C/ Discord Server Setup & Optimization

  • Research and set up features to optimize user experience.
  • Install necessary bots (interaction, moderation, notifications, tracking, etc.) such as MEE6, Carl-bot, Dank Memer,...
  • Propose and test new support tools to improve community management and development.

D/ Monitoring & Reporting

  • Compile community feedback on discussed topics.
  • Report Discord data.
  • Provide sentiment analysis from the community.

Requirements

  • Understanding of insights and culture from the US, Canada, and other American/European countries.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Minimum 3–6 months of experience in Social Media or Community Management (preferably in Gaming, Tech, or Gen Z products).
  • Familiar with Discord and major social platforms (TikTok, X, Threads, Instagram).
  • Strong trend-aware content writing skills.
  • Capable of analyzing and understanding user insights.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive in learning new trends and skills.
  • Able to work in teams and coordinate with other departments (Editor, Designer, Planner).
  • Cross-channel thinking – optimize content tailored to each platform.
